Sponsoring the Horses at US Horse Welfare and Rescue
As an organization, we rescue horses from slaughter, surrender, and abuse. We go to great lengths to save horses that are at high risk of being shipped to a cruel and inhumane ending if we fail to help them find a safe landing.
It costs several thousand dollars a month to care for the horses in our stables. Between feeding, grooming, and transportation of the rescues, we rely on community and corporate donations to make ends meet. Our riding lessons, summer camps, and events help provide for our horses, however, our aging herd needs you to help keep them safe and healthy.
Our long term goal is to add more stalls, which would enable us to rescue and rehab more horses. We would also like to build a community room that would enable us to expand upon our therapeutic equine programs for children and adults alike. “Rescued horses rescuing humans” is a guiding belief of this organization and every dollar you can give goes directly to that. Our organization is 100% volunteer-run, so 100% of your donation goes directly to helping our rescued herd and rescuing more.
Sponsoring our horses helps the horses and allows us to provide financial assistance to those in the community who can benefit from our programs.
Corporate sponsors:
The Diamond Level $10,000, The Sapphire Level $5,000. We give our Diamond and Sapphire Corporate sponsors prominent listing on our website and all media, PR releases, newsletter recognition, and marketing materials, etc for our events for the entire year.
Ruby Level $2,750, Emerald Level $1,500. Our Ruby and Emerald sponsors are listed on our website for a period of 1 year, or until the corporation no longer enrolls with us as a sponsor. Additionally, Ruby sponsors will be listed as a major sponsor for 2 events during the year, Emerald sponsors will be listed as a major sponsor for 1 event during the year.
All sponsors will receive some free tickets to the events, invitations to private events and more.
CORPORATE GRANTS: We welcome corporations to provide grant dollars specific to certain populations or specific therapeutic programs for youth and adults who are not able to afford the programs. Examples of our programs are: Barn Buddies (6-10), Teens to the Rescue(11-17), Horsepower ( all ages 6 and up, designed for those who have emotional disorders, diagnoses, PTSD, anxiety, etc), Healing with Horses (all ages 6 and up) designed for those with cognitive diagnoses such as Asbergers, Autism, Down Syndrome, etc. These programs are provided by skilled facilitators using a guided curriculum, helping the participants develop social and self awareness skills and enabling them to grow.
